With iLAP's provision of real-time data and performance scores, I can rapidly identify students' learning difficulties, an approach far more efficient than manually marking exercise books. Beyond collecting immediate diagnostic information, the platform also enables students to review and analyze their peers' work. This peer-review function not only supports my instructional decision-making but also fosters peer learning among students.
With the student learning data and corresponding analysis on IDEALS, we can know the percentage of users who have completed the tasks and identify the areas in which they perform better. Another straightforward indicator is whether they have accessed the assigned articles. Although we may not be able to measure the exact time spent reading, we can at least verify that the materials were opened and track their overall learning progress.
Now, with different options in the Workshop tool, it's much faster (than the traditional way of peer assessment), and we can immediately see who hasn't submitted and follow up right away. It also helps us see whether students understand how to use the scoring criteria. We can identify those who gave careless scores and follow up with them. Having digital feedback really speeds things up a lot.
